Die Künstlerinnen präsentieren Arbeiten, die sich um Frauen drehen und innere Vorgänge beleuchten, die sich sozial äußern, die eine Frau „als Nährende“ (Czerwenka-Wenkstetten) imaginieren und Frauen „als Monster“ (Sanguineti) vorführen/antizipieren.
“Spiegelobjekte”
Carla Sanguineti since many years focused her work on political and social issues in the fields of the human rights and of women and antimilitarism. Art and writing has always been the point interest and of manifold activities: she organized a multitude of events, exhibitions, conferences and laboratories. Carla Sanguineti’s works can also be found in the Ghandi Museum in Maturai, in the Museum of the Villa Croce in Genoa, and at the CAMEC of La Spezia and many private/public collections.

Isabel Czerwenka-Wenkstetten, ICW, is a versatile visual artist, versatile as life is. Born in Vienna, Austria, trained in UCL, London and Art- and Life-Sciences-Universities in Vienna and the UK, she now lives and works in Vienna and in the US. Since 1999 she organizes and implements art projects in an international context, embracing differences and redundances.
